I got my 1st tooth on September 21, 2002 ... mommy didn't even know I was teething because I have been so GREAT ... no fever, cold, crying or anything "normal" when it comes to teething ... I'm tough!!

Growing just like me! This is my Jaden Rose my nanny bought for me when she visited in May. Remember how small it was in the last picture? Well what d'ya know it is growing as fast as I am ...

I guess I look kinda cute with my bow in my hair don't I? Ok mom, you can keep doing this it's sort of growing on me now!

Uh-Oh! Mommy put a bow in my hair again, something tells me I will be having my hair like this a lot more often don't you think so too?

Today, September 16, 2002, I was upstairs with mommy and daddy and I was on my belly and the next thing I knew I was on my back ... after about 5 times I was a pro ...

Hey Mom ... I think you forgot to put some water in my cup ... I guess that's a good thing since it would have been ALL over me huh?

I had more shots today, are they ever going to end? Mommy and daddy both took me this time and mommy left when the shots started and daddy had to hold me this time ... poor daddy!

We met some of mom's coworkers at the Mall of America. I got to see Snoopy, Charlie Brown, Linus, Lucy and Sally sing and dance up on stage. We met Tim and Cheri and their son Ben along with Terry's step-daughter Sydney. We had a lot of fun. We also went to Lego Land and I got to watch ALL the kids race the lego cars they built.

FIRST WORD

My 1st word was Ma-Ma and I said it on September 2, 2002 ... mommy was so happy that I said Ma-Ma before daddy ... silly mommy because a month later on 10-05-02 I said Da-Da .... YEAH!

August ~ 2002

First Piggy Tail - August 29Well now I look like Pebbles ... actually I DO have a LOT of hair and mommy put it up so it would stay out of my eyes. She says I look silly with it but I think I will be wearing ponytails for a LONG time to come ... HELP! This is a picture of me on my deck in the backyard sporting my new hairdooo!

This is me in my NEW tub. It is a blow up tub that fits in the BIG tub. Mommy bought it for me so I can't slip and fall in the BIG tub ... Daddy is giving me a bath in this picture and he is acting silly ...

When mommy and daddy took me to the MN State Fair they had a computerized picture taken of me and put on a growth chart to hang on my wall ... this is what the picture looks like!! Mommy loves it!

Great MN Get Together! It was 1 year ago during this time that daddy couldn't wait until this year so he could take me to the State Fair and Boy Oh Boy did we have a blast. I got to meet Charlie Brown AND Linus. I even got my picture taken with them ... it was VERY hot outside though but we all had a great time ... can't wait until next year, and the year after that, and the year after that ...

SIPPY CUP!

I started drinking from my sippy cup on August 22,2002. I started to refuse my bottles because they are getting a little boring so mommy decided to try a cup, I didn't understand it at first but now I think I get more in my mouth than on my shirt ...

I don't want to wake up from my dreams ... I am holding on ...

Chubby Cheeks! Mommy says I was born with chubby cheeks and they just grow along with the rest of me. She also says she can't imagine what I would look like without them, they're my trademark.

Me and Mommy!

I sat up all by myself for the first time at daycare on August 7, 2002 ... I was only at my new daycare for 2 days when I learned how to sit up all alone ... Now you won't be able to get me to lie back down!

I'm a little fishy! Remember how much I cried for my first bath, well those feelings are LONG GONE ... now mommy thinks that I am just a big fish when I take a bath ... I LOVE TUB TIME!

This is me with my Grandma's daddy GREAT Grandpa Stanley. We went to visit him to celebrate Great Grandma's birthday. I think I am almost as big as G'pa Stanley!!

ROLLED OVER! We were at Grandmas house to celebrate Grandma and Great Grandma's birthdays and I was lying on the floor "trying" to roll over. I did it once and got SO excited ... now I think I am so cool except I get a little temper when I get stuck on my belly ... I guess I better learn to roll back huh?

I held my bottle all by myself ... this is a picture of me eating but I wasn't able to hold it alone quite yet ... but now I can, I am getting SO big!

Mommy and daddy are making me laugh SO hard I am going to wet my pants ... I do that ALL the time anyhow so what's the difference right?

Well the doctor says I sure am a chubby baby but VERY healthy. I had 4 more shots today but mommy kept her word and didn't come alone. Grandma drove up to go with us and she held me while I got my shots. Mommy said she heard me screaming all the way out in the waiting room ... Good Lungs huh?

Just too hot for me to be outside. There seems to be water sticking all over my belly and I don't like it ... mom why am I ALL WET ... I think maybe we should stay inside for a little while ...

I think I might be a tiny bit tired ...

HAPPY 4th of JULY! My Grandma always has a 4th of July party but this year it was early so mommy and daddy took me down to party at Grandma's. She had a lot of friends over and they ALL thought I was beautiful. It was AWFUL hot outside though so mommy and me stayed in the AC for a while. Once the sun went down we went outside and partied some more. On July 4th our neighbors Dan and Jenny had a party at their house so mommy and daddy took me to visit. One of the neighbor kids, Samantha, loves me and couldn't put me down. She played with me for a long time. We had a blast! Then it was time for fireworks so me, mommy, daddy, Koz and Sarah went out on our deck in the backyard and watched the fireworks going off down on the Lake. It was very neat!

This is Aimee and her husband Tony. We are sitting in the food court at the Mall of America. Right down below us is where Camp Snoopy is with ALL the neat rides that I will get to go on when I get a little bigger!!

This is my mommy's friend from high school. She lives with her husband Tony in California. They drove out to visit Aimee's mommy in Michigan and they stopped in Minnesota to see me and mommy. It was a lot of FUN! Aimee is the one whoe bought me my Mr. Frog beanie toy that I just LOVE LOVE LOVE ... when Aimee was here I was playing with her belly a lot, well it turned out that Aimee is going to have a baby too. She is "supposed" to have him on March 10, 2003 and his name will be Mason Alexander ... CONGRATS Aimee and Tony!

June ~ 2002

This is me in my exersaucer. I am playing with my toy named Mr. Frog! Mommy's friend Aimee sent it to me all the way from California and I just LOVE HIM! I give him BIG hugs and I even cuddle with him to put myself to sleep ... THANKS AIMEE!

Mommy says I need some tummy time. I don't really like it much but as long as I can eat my fingers I guess I'll do it for a little while.

We don't have any pictures of today ... (ooopppsss) but me and mommy DID go shopping for daddy and he was SO surprised when he opened his Minnesota Vikings presents ... he LOVES the Vikings so me and mommy bought him a new light, some coasters and some stickers!! He was VERY happy about that!! HAPPY 1st FATHER'S DAY DADDY!!

I have a favorite toy frog rattle ... but we were in Wal-Mart one day and mommy dropped it and lost it so we had to "try" and find another one ... we didn't until about a month later!! Here I am with my frog toy in this picture ...

My cousin Zachary LOVES me too. He is so nice to me. When I was in the jolly jumper my feet wouldn't touch the floor so he built a stack of pillows so I could "try" to bounce. Thanks Zachary!

Tiny hands and little fingers. Poppy likes rubbing my little hands and my nanny likes to rub my chubby knuckles. I get showered with LOVE everywhere I go!

SO SAD ... because today we leave to go back home to Minnesota. My nanny doesn't like it when I leave her. She said mommy and daddy need to move closer ... (psst I agree nan!)

My Aunt Jenny love me ... can't you tell? I think she would like to steal me from my mommy and daddy so she could cuddle with me forever but I think her "baby" Justyn would be a little sad, not to mention so would mommy and daddy!

WHAT!! My mom is trying to marry me off already! Actually this is mommy's best friend Alyssa's son Ryan. He was born in July 2001 and was pretty fun to play with. Mommy and "Aunt" Alyssa wanted to get our pictures taken together and this is how it turned out! I am 3 months old in this picture and Ryan is 10 months!

Just 'hanging around' at my nanny and poppy's house. This Jolly jumper was my cousin Justyn's when he was a baby and now I get to use it. I am not quite sure how to bounce yet but it sure is weird just "hanging" here ...

My poppy loves to cuddle with me even when I am sleeping. He has very strong arms and makes me feel safe and warm ... I could get used to this, I think he could too!

This is my cousin Justyn. The last time he came to visit me and he fed me a bottle I was SO much smaller. Now I almost cover his whole lap. Boy those bottles sure are helping me grow BIG and STRONG!!

In June my mommy's "baby" brother UNCLE Harry got married to my Aunt Amanda. There wedding was on June 8th so mommy and daddy and me flew out before the wedding so we could be there to celebrate. It was my very first trip on an airplane and mommy said I was SO good. I slept the whole time to New York and back to my house. I can't wait to go back and visit ...
