Just need lots of rest to make me all better ... 
Hard for mommy to sit in the hospital and watch me being hooked up to all these tubes. My little hand hurt from the IV but my Grandma bought me some musical toys that she hung on the IV rack for me ... that made me smile :0)
Well it turns out that all I had was my very FIRST cold ... and boy oh boy was that a relief for my mommy. I had to stay in the hospital for 2 days to make sure my fever didn't go back up and to make sure I was breathing ok ... (ended up being diagnosed as RSV later on down the road!)
mommy left work and met daddy at home and then all three of us went to the hospital. Mommy called Grandma on the way and asked her to come up too because Grandma is a nurse and that makes mommy feel better. Well since I was under 2 months old the Doctors had to do a whole bunch of stuff to rule out everything. I had to have an IV, a spinal tap and I had to be cathaterized ... it all hurt SO much!! It made my mommy cry so hard but we both turned out to be trooper ... except I got the neat band-aids, there wasn't a band-aid big enough for mommy' heart ...~
Mommy took my temperature when we got back from the Baby Shower. It was 102.4, she got very nervous but it was too late and a Sunday to call the Doctor. She decided that daddy would stay home with me the next day and take me to see Dr. Marshall while mommy went back to work. Well while I was at the doctors they decided that since I still had a fever and it was rising that I should be admitted to Children's Hospital to make sure I didn't have meningitis ... uh-oh!
at the baby shower. I was very cranky and when I wasn't cranky I was sleeping way too much!! Mommy thought something was wrong because I wasn't acting myself ... she was right!
On April 27th my Grandma and Aunt Adrienne threw a Baby Shower for me. Here are some of the gifts mommy got! Thanks Aunt Adrienne and Grandma!

I want to be a Ballet Dancer ... but first I need a hair dresser!!
am not too sure about this stringy green stuff...it tickles my tiny toes ...
I could get used to this outside stuff. Well it was 95 degrees outside today and it is only April 14th. Next week mommy said it will probably snow...what's snow?
This is me sleeping in my daddy's lap, believe it or not it is only April 13th and I am wearing shorts in Minnesota. Well it was actually 90 degrees outside today...last week we had snow! If you don't like the weather just wait a minute I guess!!
Mommy likes this picture because I have the "Nanny Mary" face on, Nanny Mary is my Great Grandma (my mommy's Nanny) and she always makes this face and says ooh ooh when she does it ... she is very funny!
This is my very first smile (well the first one NOT caused by gas), Mommy thinks I am smiling at the little animals above my head on my swing. Either way this smile thing is FUN...

I slept through the WHOLE night when I was just 1 month old, I stayed downstairs with daddy the whole night ... except I didn't sleep in my crib, I slept in the swing!!! (Mommy says that doesn't count though!!!)
